Abstract
The relation between reactive inhibition and reminiscence
K. Koga
This study was conducted in order to determine the factors which provide reminiscence according to Hull's theory. Hull utilized the concepts IR and SIR to explain the phenomenon of reminiscence. IR should be hypothesized to be as a negative accelerated function of intertrial interval and positive growing function of trial's time. In experiment I reminiscence was showed to be as a positive function of the intertrial interval, in experiment II reminiscence was found to be tended as a positive increasing function of pre-rest trial's time. Nevertheless it was found that there were several disaccorded point with Hull's theory.
