Abstract
Effects of attitudes and sex on clairvoyance and precognition performance
P.O. Peretti
Research has been conducted to determine how attitudes toward ESP by the S might effect clairvoyance performance, Different studies have provided conflicting results. The present paper reports an attempt to; (1) find out the effects of differing attitudes toward ESP by sex of S: (2) determine the degree to which such attitudes effect psi; (3) interaction effects of sex and performance, and (4) precognition affects of sex attitudes. Results suggested that females having definite positive or negative attitudes toward ESP respond significantly different from males on clairvoyance trials; however, with precognition the performances were not significantly dissimilar.
