The present study was designed to investigate the relationship between attitude toward political leaders (A), attitude toward nation (B), and acceptability of political models for their children to emulate (C). Specifically three hypotheses were tested: (1) attitude towards political leaders (A) and attitude towards nation (B) are positively correlated; (2) negative correlation between attitude towards political leaders (A) and acceptability of political models (C), and (3) negative correlation between attitude towards nation (B) and acceptability of political models (C). The sample consisted of 41 respondents who filled out a questionnaire in three sections for this purpose. The results confirmed the three hypotheses. Further significant differences were found on attitude towards nation among males and females, and also among low and high income groups. The findings are discussed with their implications for attitude-behavior congruence.
