Abstract
Characteristics of Japanese family: Evidence From the Results of the Doll Location Test by University Students
T. Hatta & N. Tsukiji
Using Hatta's Doll Location Test, dyadic relations in a Japanese family were evaluated. The dyadic distance between mother and daughter was closer than the distance between parents and any other dyadics in a family. This tendency was the most prominent in female students. Based upon the comparison with Swiss family, cross-cultural differences in the structure of family members was discussed.
