Abstract
Semantic effects in perceptual judgments
S. Kakizaki
The problems concerning distinction between the perceptual system and the response system were briefly reviewed. It was discussed that both the response-bias arguments on the perceptual defence experiments and the semantic effect arguments on the perceptual judgment experiments could be treated not as matter of separation of the two systems but as exemplification of interactions of them. Results of several exploratory experiments performed along this line of thought were reported.
