Two hundred subjects were administered Parental Discipline Scale and Questionnaire hostility, guilt and conflict. Role of parental discipline in the development of hostility, guilt and conflict over hostility was examined. It was found that guilt over hostility was positively related to Love-oriented discipline while negatively to Power-assertive discipline. However, no defnite relationship between hostility and Power-assertive or Love-oriented discipline was observed. Similarly, no consistent relationship emerged between conflict over hostility and Love-oriented or Power-assertive discipline.
