The increasing in the number of working mothers in recent generations has inevitably had an effect on family relationships. The findings of the present study clearly suggest that girls of the employed mothers possess greater masculine trends than that of the unemployed ones. It suggests that mothers who were employed are largely perceived by their daughters as neglecting, rejecting, punishing whereas the unemployed ones are perceived as protecting, rewarding and loving. The tantative explanation proves into the various situational factors which lead to development of masculinity in girls due to their mothers employment on the one hand and their perception of them as punishing, on the other.
