S. Iwawaki, S.B.G. Eysenck & H.J. Eysenck
A comparison was carried out between English and Japanese samples of adult male and female subjects, using the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire. Factor analyses showed very similar patterns of factor loadings, with indices of factor comparisons all in excess of .95. and most in excess of .98. The Japanese were found to be much higher than the English on P, and much lower on E; for N the Japanese males, and for L the Japanese females, have higher scores than the English. Results are in line, on the whole, with previous work. Blood group polymorphism showed some suggestive relation with personality.
