The present experiment was designed to test the efficiency of seven procedures which included different kinds of feedback respectively in training Ss to change their skin temperature. Subjects were twenty-eight undergraduate psychology students. The temperature difference between the hands was computed by the system's controller. Seven kinds of feedback conditions were prepared. They were (1) no feedback, (2) light, (3) panel meter, (4) light and panel meter, (5) panel meter and money counter, (6) light and money counter, and (7) light, panel meter, and money counter. Subjects succeeded in changing their skin temperature to the direction instructed in the conditions of (3), (4), and (5). In other conditions Ss failed to control their skin temperature.
