Abstract
Error Factor Analysis of Sensory-Motor Conceptual Learning in Normal and Mentally Retarded Children
M. Matsuda & F. Matsuda
Error factor analysis was applied to the learning in the experiment carried out by Matsuda & Matsuda (1981). It was found that the response pattern of alternation, repetition, or preference with respect to position disturbed most strongly progress in this finger maze learning. The mentally retarded children showed stereotypic response patterns more often than the normal children. The verbalization had little effects on response patterns.
