Abstract
Psychological Aspects of the Male-Female Relationship
B. Rhyner
The Present paper is divided into three sections. The first part deals with the fundamental need for a partner and the problem of choosing a partner. The second part introduces the concept of collusion (hidden interplay between partners). An awareness of the patterns of collusion is helpful for a better understanding of partnership problems. The third section, on the other hand, presents a more positive approach. Here some hints for establishing a satisfying partnership are given. The main emphasis is placed on flexibility concerning ideas about partner relationships.
