The main purpose of the present study was to evaluate the differences between SG and Non-SC subjects on need variables measured by TPPS. Four groups of 144 SC adolescents, 158 SC young adults, 156 Non-SC adolescents and 150 Non-SC young adults served as the sample for this study. It was found that SC and Non-SC adolescents differed significantly on ach, aff, int, suc, aba, nur and agg. n-ord, b-exh, n-nur, n-chg, n-end were the needs on which SC and Non-SC young adults had obtained significantly different scores.
