Nepalese
Perception of Self And Others is studied by Osgood's Semantic Differential
Scale. Urban Nepalese (N = 700) showed a marked degree of pessimism
for national perception. For Nepalese in general, greater affinity
and liking for distant American people is observed than for neighbouring
people of China, Pakistan, and India. However, among the proximal
countries China distinctly ranked first. But the Nepalese have highest
regard for the Japanese people as shown in the evaluation dimension.
Nepalese are unconditionally attracted by the ideal Japanese Culture.
