Nepal has only forty year's history of Psychology teaching. Here, psychological researches are quite discrete in nature showing no definite trend of indigenization as shown by Japan, China and India. Japan takes a leading role in Asia for indigenization after establishment of first laboratory of Psychology in 1903 at the Imperial University of Tokyo. Recently, Nepalese Psychologists think of theory-based researches framed around real live national problems. Few trends of Psychology in the areas of Cognition, Learning, and Personality are expected to emerge within five years to come.
