Achievement in Abacus Learning
T. Hatta |
To
examine the relation between vigilance performance and abacus achievement,
auditory vigilance tasks were given to 5th and 6th graders. The results
showed that high achievers showed superior vigilance performance
than that of the low achievers in both simple and complex vigilance
tasks. The gender difference was shown in the complete vigilance
task. The importance of attention state in information input stages
was stressed by the findings.
