Role of Long-term Working Memory in Text Comprehension

distinction is made between short-term working memory, which is capacity
limited, and long-term working memory, which is available to experts
in their domain of expertise. Text comprehension is viewed as expert
performance. The role of long-term working memory in text comprehension
is analyzed, with an emphasis on the activation of relevant knowledge
during comprehension. Latent semantic analysis used to model knowledge
