Reminiscence : a review

In the present review, an attempt to study the growth of theory and experimental work in the field of reminiscence, is made, The analysis and reconsideration of various dimensions of this complex phenomenon yields a picture, not very clear, but promising a solid outline and concrete details. The importance of Ir, sIr, and consolidation is evaluated. A multifactor theory of reminiscence, with due consideration for control and evaluation of various variables, i. e., personality, drive, task, practice, and physiological states is put forward. Of course, with a hope for higher sophistication in method, analysis and theory.
