研究領域 (Research Area): 認知・実験心理学

経験による認知機能の変化とそのメカニズムについて，実験や調査などの認知心理学的手法を用いて検討しています。具体的には，作動記憶（ワーキングメモリ）をはじめとする認知機能のトレーニングの効果と，その背後にある認知スキルや方略，さらに関連する認知機能（記憶・知能・学習など）の仕組みを明らかにするための研究を行っています。さらに，バイリンガルやビデオゲームの経験・トレーニングも視野に入れ，認知機能の可塑性に関する新たな理論の構築と実社会への応用を目指しています（https://researchmap.jp/nn_kyt）。

Research Area: Experimental and cognitive psychology
I received my Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Education, Kyoto University, where I worked with Prof. Satoru Saito. My research focuses on how cognitive abilities change through various forms of experience. In particular, I investigate the effects of training on cognitive functions, especially working memory, and their underlying mechanism (e.g., cognitive routine, strategy use). I also examine the mechanisms of related cognitive functions, including working memory, serial memory, intelligence, and learning. In addition, I aim to extend this line of research to bilingual experience, video game experience and training, and other experience-based influences on cognition, with the goal of developing new theoretical accounts of cognitive plasticity and applying them to real-world settings.
