研究領域

 記憶の機能とそのメカニズムを記憶科学 (memory science)アプローチにより探ることで、人間を理解しようとしています。現在は、思考や行動の型を支える安定した記憶(言語知識、意味記憶)、その型を打ち破るための柔軟な記憶(エピソード記憶、ワーキングメモリ)について、実験心理学・認知神経科学の様々な手法を用い、(1) 環境に存在する規則性の学習・運用(統計的学習、第一言語の習得と理解・産出)、(2) 環境や状況の変化に応じた心的過程の制御と適応(記憶制御、意味制御、認知制御、実行機能、外国語学習)、(3)社会文脈におけるそれらの動態(共同認知、協同想起、社会的自己制御)の観点から研究しています。
